Perspective Is Everything
Add a twist to your thinking. An “araprosdokian” is a figure of speech in where the latter part of the sentence or the phrase is surprising or unexpected in such a way that it causes the person receiving it to reframe or reinterpret the first part. Comedians us this frequently. Shock value of this sort is also used for dramatic flair.
Don’t argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn’t work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.
