Choose your Reality Carefully

As I was preparing this program a couple of quotes that align with proactiveness, with the ‘no excuses’ mindset, with the champion’s mindset came to me. I collect quotes. I have hundreds and hundreds of them. I have books of quotes. I really like quotes.

Dr. Norman Vincent Peale said, “A positive thinker does not refuse to recognize the negative, he refuses to dwell on it.” Positive thinking is a form of thought which habitually looks for the best results even in the worst conditions.

That’s key! Positive thinking is a form of thought which habitually looks for the best results even in the worst conditions.

A second statement that came to mind was made by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. He said, “The only limitation to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today.” What a powerful statement.

If you look at the challenges that President Roosevelt went through you can see how proactive he was and how profound that was, when he was struck with illness.

Take Exquisite Care Of You

Work hard, play hard, relax and take it easy. Do what you can about what you can do something about. Give-up being distressed about other things that you can’t do anything about. Give-up the negative thinking. Don’t rate yourself lower than you really are. Stop the excuses.

Begin by living the life you want now. You can do it. Today is your new day. Your life will become the way you want because of your continuous mental focus. Be certain you’re focusing on what you want, not on what you don’t want because you will have whatever you are focusing on most.

Your subconscious mind is a last-in/first-out system. If you’re putting garbage in your brain then your brain is going to do what it can to make sure it keeps the garbage alive. Focus on what you want to have. Not on the bad stuff – on the good stuff.

Focus on your desired outcomes. Focus on the results. Focus on the type of life you want to have; the health, the vitality, the love, the prosperity. Focus on that. To have anything requires a commitment. You’ve got to choose. You have to make a commitment.

Do you want something different from what you have? Then take a different action. Create what you desire. You have to commit to it. Look at it, see it, and make it happen. You have unlimited power and ability to create whatever you desire most. You can be, you can do and you can have whatever you want. Choose it. Unleash your mind. Your potential is truly endless.

Focus your thoughts and attitudes on the life you most desire. Get out there. Go for it. Make today a great day!
