Another strategy for helping yourself have more harmony in your mind and peace in your life and success overall is to test your limits. You will never know your true potential if you always stay in your comfort zone. Our comfort zones limit us. We often are unwilling to try something new because of lack of knowledge or skills, because something is hard, it’s too big, it’s too tough, because we’ve never done it that way before. But we have to test our limits and go out there and do what we can. As the old saying goes, “It’s better to look back and regret what you did than regret all these things you wish you had tried instead.”

Quit shoulding on yourself – “I should do this, I must do that, I ought to have _____”fill in the blank. The shoulds, the musts, the ought-tos the have-tos get in your way. They lead to self-induced pressure that diminishes your ability to have a calmer mind and better focus. Look at what you can do and what you can’t do.
